Twenty-four high school basketball teams will gather Friday and Saturday for the 2008 version of the Prairie State Shootout.
This year marks the eighth edition of the boys tournament and the sixth edition of the girls tournament.
As in previous years, games will be held at Bushnell-Prairie City High School and B-PC Junior High. This year though, games will also be played at the Christian Community Center.
B-PC High School and Junior High are located at 845 N. Walnut, while the Christian Community Center is located at 355 West Main Street.
Admission will be charged at each site with concessions available only at B-PC H.S. and Junior High.
Pools for this year's shootout are as follows:
Girls
Green Pool - Sturgeon, Mo., Lewistown, ROWVA and Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon.
Black Pool - Henry-Senachwine, Princeville, West Prairie and BPCA JV.
Boys
Red Pool - Sterling Christian, Lewistown, Illini Bluffs and Chicago Rowe-Clark Math and Science.
White Pool - Ridgewood Baptist, Galva, BPCA and Canton.
Blue Pool - Abingdon, Chicago Uplift, Macomb and BPCA JV.
Gray Pool - Pearl City, Elmwood, Monmouth-Roseville and Delavan.
