This letter is to dispel rumors being spread about our business and to apprise the public of what our business is about.

Contrary to the rumor of our business closing, Bonnie’s Bridal and Prom Boutique is NOT closing. The fact is, due to family members’ health issues, I would like to retire and sell the business. If the business sells, I hope the new owner enjoys operating a bridal shop as much as I do. It is fun to make brides’ dreams come true with elegant gowns and creative services. Until the business sells, I will continue to operate the boutique and have NO plans to close.

Also, Bonnie’s Bridal and Prom Boutique is NOT a resale store. We do not accept used items for any reason. Bridal shops of our caliber are contracted with major gown designers. Gowns from these designers are high quality, and we are able to offer the gowns at lower prices than competitors in other towns.

People who visit our boutique know we are NOT a resale store, and they know we are NOT closing. For persons who travel to shop out of town, we encourage them to stay local and to visit us in Macomb to reap the rewards of shopping locally.

We are grateful for our customers and are pleased to provide a service to assist with the special events in their lives. In our sixth year of business (two years in Macomb), we have customers from local counties and neighboring states, as well as cities of Peoria, Springfield, Quincy and Chicago. We are also pleased to have assisted with international weddings.

Having Bonnie’s Bridal and Prom Boutique in Macomb is great, and the support of other businesses is wonderful.
