Gene Oster passed away at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. He was born on Nov. 7, 1933, in Palmyra, to William and Nellie
Royer Oster.

Burial will be in the Industry Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the Macomb VFW and the Macomb American Legion. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to either Industry Assembly of God Church or Quincy V.A. Home.
