Ervin L. “Cocky” Murk passed away at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at his home. He was born on July 5, 1910, the son of the late Arthur and Grace (Brekenmaker) Murk.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. John Sowers officiating. Interment will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Research Hospital.
