A Basco man was killed Wednesday morning after an accident involving two tractors.
Gary D. Jacobs,  63, of West Point, was driving a tractor on 1150 East County Road just south of 450 North County Road, and pulling a field cultivator that had lost one of its tires.

The bucket loader of a tractor driven by John J. Jacobs, 80, of Basco, was chained to rear of the cultivator to pick up the side that had lost a tire.

The cultivator then lost a second tire, and the tractor being driven by Gary D. Jacobs drove over into the ditch on the right side of the road, pulling over the cultivator and the tractor driven by John J. Jacobs.
