Wednesday was the first day of leading the Hancock-McDonough Regional Office of Education for new Regional Superintendent John Meixner and Assistant Regional Superintendent Eric Bryan.
Meixner was appointed to the job to replace the retiring Regional Superintendent Gary Eddington.
He served as Eddington’s assistant superintendent for three years. Prior to that he spent five years at the Southeastern School District, moving from teacher to dean of students at the junior high and district athletic director.
